mamma metasearch is a search engine where people will find it easier and faster to find information by gathering the most relevant results from the best search engines on the Internet.

Eric Digest

provides one way to search on topics of prime current interest in education. There are a large variety of topics covered including teaching, learning, libraries, charter schools, special education, higher education, home schooling, and many more.
targeted specifically for teachers, administrators, policymakers, and other practitioners, but generally useful to the broad educational community. Designed to provide an overview of information on a given topic, plus references to items providing more detailed information.

Similarities

Basically, the purposes of these search engines except Eric digest.com is to search and finding information which regard of educational purposes. As for example, Eric digest is a Data base applications that will ensure students and educationist to search articles, online journals or even interactive libraries upon education fields especially English and literature. Furthermore, these applications also contains multiple usage like downloading software, chatting and image searching.

Differences

However, some of these search engines have some differences. For example, mamma.com is a meta search where it will integrate finding by gathering all results from other popular search engines such as google.com or yahoo.com. Furthermore, yahoo.com is a search engines where users will able to search information within the applications provided such as audio files and etc. But, Yahoo.com will enable users to sign up emels and popular chatting medium Yahoo messenger. Eric digest is contrast with mamma.com or Google scholar since it is a webbase or database applications but yet still manage to give brilliant information on educational journals and articles. Sadly, no emels can be used within this web base.
